My experience was pretty straight forward. I had no real expectation that I would receive the money quoted 2 days ago. Car had no real issues and was worth more than I received. Dropped a grand on the quote price due to whatever reason came to mind. But on the other side I got paid and didnt have to deal with selling the car private. Some folk enjoy the cut and thrust of private sales but not for me. I would advise to look at quote price and drop at least 800 pounds for no reason. It would be interesting to see if folk do actually get paid the initial quote price or higher

Actually felt insulted. Don’t bother trying to sell a high end car to them. talk about a fine tooth comb and a unnecessary repair list to drag the value down. An obvious service record that they refused to accept because the paperwork didn’t show the mileage which in their eyes devalued the car. Never again.

I put my car detail into the We buy any car web site and was given a valuation of 4800. A week later this was increased to 5000 so I made an appointment to visit the Inverness office. My car was in very good condition with a full service history and relatively low mileage - approx 7000 a year. There were a few scratches which are inevitable after 4.5 years. On arrival we were told that the “computer” was giving a valuation of 3800 but the salesman felt that he could achieve 4000!! Come on “We buy any car” give a realistic quote of what you are going to offer and stop leading people on. And please tell your salesman to stop calling women Sweetheart!

Going to be part of Arnold Clarks so avoid like the plague. Valuation is rigged to go in their favour. Don't sell to them. I got 1500 more from dealership.
