Mayfield Park and Nature Preservation was a nice area with nice trails. There were steps to take to continue a trail by the water, which was beautiful! The space is pretty well kept. There is limited parking. Once at the house/garden entrance you can see the peacocks (look above).

Fun day trip from Dallas. Hiking trails were fun for the kids and has some oak trees they can climb.

Beautiful park with walking peacocks and cute colorful koi and ponds, kids absolutely loved it and had a lot of fun. Trails are nice to walk up and down and are even quite easy, peaceful walk for young kids. Be sure to check the small wood deck down the trail to take a look around the lake, beautiful during the fall.

This place was not what was expected. I explored the gardens, took pictures of the beautiful peacocks and hiked along the trails. The first 1/3 of the trail is very rocky and somewhat dangerous. A young child fell and injured herself on the rocks while I was there. The gardens were well kept, wish I could say the same about the trails.

This park is amazing! They have peacocks! It's well kept place. The trail is pretty short but clean. I wish they had bathrooms but maybe they did and i wasn't able to find them.
