Lovely place inside the perimeter to roam around. The trail is marked well but pay attention to the map because you have to cross the street two times in order to do the entire 3 mile trail. Enjoy!

This place is a real gem! It’s a 2-mile loop path through wilderness right off Roswell Road. The paths and foot bridges are well maintained and take you along a stream. There is one short section where you climb some rock steps which adds to the fun. There are science exhibits and we actually saw a blue heron hunting a fish. It’s a great escape during quarantine! And they are open really late... 11pm I think.

Absolutely beautiful place in the middle of Atlanta. I’d recommend taking both trails. Definitely take the trail to the right and take it across the road. It is gorgeous back there!

I came to get information about volunteering with blue heron but got distracted by the park's beauty. I had to walk a part of the trail while i was here. So beautiful. Can't wait til it's hotter outside.. want to come back and explore and take it all in
