If I can give Zero Star, I will. But --- The one star is the Review of Ms Helen L (an Asian origin) - the Optometrist of Top Ryde. On 14-12-29 approx 10.30AM, I had the UNFORTUNATE experience of having her serving me initially, relating to my OPSM make spec (just a year ago) was "blurry", with "not right" comments made by my regular Optometrist who carried out my yearly Exam a couple of weeks ago. my Optometrist stated my eyesight has very very minimal change that would not require a new Script. Ms L was RUDE, NOT WILLING to listen, or had the ability to source appropriate info in order to help and rectify the issues. All she said was... we offered a very generous warranty of 30 days return. All these conversation was out in the shop front with other customers within ear-shot. Hooray!!!! Ms L is such a strong advocate for potential OPSM customers not going to her for eye exam or purchase products! However, I was saved on the day by the Store Manager, Ms Sherris R , an Optical Dispenser, she sourced lots of info from me, check very detail on how I put on the specs, compare my OPSM spec with my other spec.... very detailed check in order to source and rectify the problems. The Outcome - OPSM frame just need re-adjustment. Ms Sherrie deserved a 10 Stars for her helpfulness.

Less options compared to other stores. When i was there, only staff was present. Many people walked in and walked out coz no one was there to attend them probably.

Long time OPSM customer, went to another optometrist in the shopping centre for an eye test as I liked their frames, who recommended I go back to OPSM to get some extra scans done again. I have a condition which requires monitoring with their fancy machine, which I have had done at other OPSM stores. I was greeted with a very unfriendly and rude optometrist, Sarah, who didn't make me feel welcome at all. Is it because I didn't buy glasses from OPSM? OPSM, you have lost a long term customer.

Had my eyes checked by Sarah. Lovely and friendly woman, full of energy and information. Answered my questions and concerns without any attitude (I've come across this at other optomitrists) It's rare to come across someone with her genuine, upbeat attitude, it was an absolute pleasure. I had the appointment Wednesday last week, was told my glasses will be ready in a week and half, I received a text today (just 5days later) to say they're ready for collection. Happy customer!

Fantastic service and patience. Recently helped me through a number of issues with a script I got elsewhere. Have also provided great service every other time I have been over the last couple of years.

For the testing the kids, it's just wasting the time. They even don't know what they are doing.

Total disregard for customer. OPSM called and cancelled my appointment with less than 30 minutes notice. The reason? They decided to transfer the optician to a different store for the day. If you like having your time wasted, this is the store for you.

Easily the worst service I have received from an optical business. I went looking for Rayband prescription sunglasses and went in there 3 times as I live local ( they had 3 different sales ) each time I was told that the glasses I chose didn't exist and that I could chose a different type with a non reflective coating I went to Rhodes OPSM and the young lady had the glasses ordered in 10 minutes .. I don't want to be rude but it seems the staff at Ryde are all 60 years old and would rather sit than help .
