I have been suffering with lower back pain for 1 1/2 years. I have been waiting for Pain Specialists of Oregon to schedule my procedure for several months. They seem to have screwed up the paperwork required for my insurance company to authorize the procedures and are in no particular hurry to straighten it out. When I spoke to their scheduler today, she was completely RUDE and UNHELPFUL. The worst customer service I have ever had from a doctor's office. SHE COULD NOT EVEN GIVE ME A GUESSTIMATE of how long it would take, once the paperwork is approved, to get me scheduled. I asked her, a couple of weeks, a couple of months, another year? She would NOT give me an answer, saying she doesn't like giving patience \false hope.\ An estimate, to put my mind at ease, is NOT hope, it is JUST AN ESTIMATE. I am considering changing providers, even though this might mean I have to wait even longer. Of course, I don't know, because PAIN SPECIALISTS couldn't even guess as to how long it will be. American Health Coverage at its worst......

I have been a patient for close to 15 years. I have very complicated neuro issues. Dr. Dunn and his staff have been wonderful. They worked with me, trying different methods, besides just medication for my pain control. I would 100% recommend Dr. Dunn and staff to anyone dealing with chronic pain.

They do try to help out, which counts for something. They help my dad out, which I'm grateful for. As for me, they basically made me feel horrible. I have a number of joint issues and surgeries wrecked me beyond repair. I went in to get help for the constant nerve pain and got told \I'm SOL and they don't understand what I expect them to do\. They recognize the damage and that I am in pain but offered no real help outside of injections and then got frustrated because my injections gave me about a week's worth of comfort before running out and then they just gave up on me. I am literally on my own. What's the point of being a pain specialist if you turn people away because their conditions frustrate you? Try being in my shoes, having surgeries and losing use of your body all why trying to work and live life, but your disabilities have caused you to lose jobs and be able to truly live. Dr. Morgan dismissed me my first time seeing her, literally equating my deformed joints/OA/bone disease to a strain she experienced in her knee; apparently the kind of pain I have can't be helped. In other words, I should just go screw myself because I was born deformed and gained most of my problems through genetics. Cool. Thanks for making me hate myself more than I already did.

Dr. Morgan has been so professional and has helped me so much. I appreciate her frankness and compassion at the same time. ️
