The attraction was actually closed when we were there this time, and but have been here before and is very interesting and informative of its history. Able to walk around the other mining ruin buildings. Stunning views of the coastline. Highly recommended.

Sadly, due to the bug everything was closed but we still had an enjoyable wander around the site, reading the history recorded on various notices. The location is striking and makes a visit worthwhile even if the engine is out of bounds.

Nice area. Takes you back to how things use to be. Lovely coastal walk to the south. Worth a trip.

Currently the Levant Mine and Beam Engine are closed. You can park at the National Trust car park at Levant which is free to National Trust members. You can walk around the site. The views are beautiful and you can gain a picture of what mining was like here from the buildings that are left behind. There are a number of information boards around the site explaining the buildings. You can walk to the site along the coastal path from Pendeen Lighthouse.
