Happy with the standard of service but the entrance is a bit problematic if you want easy access for wheelchair users

since the merger it has become a shambles, receptionist are always busy/phone lines are always busy(it can take up to 15 mins just to speak to the receptionist so have plenty of credit). if you need an appointment to see the nurse best book it 8/12 weeks in advance as they are so busy that's if you can get into this surgery (usually get sent to another surgery without telling you where you are heading or even if you can get there). I wish they went back to being a single unit as it was massively so much better, have big concerns for how it will be in a couple of years time.

Since the merger this practice has gone completely down hill, don't get me wrong when you eventually get to see a medical professional at Meadowside you are treated with respect and courtesy, it's the hoops you have to jump through to get there. The receptionists always seem rushed and inexperienced, you never get a straight answer from any of them. I'm sure there is a notes section on all our files, but they seem oblivious to it! And that is when you can actually get through to them, yes all surgeries are busy first thing in a morning, but some days I've rang after dinner and the line is constantly engaged, it has taken up to 50 attempts to get through to them some days. Please, please, please go back to how it used to be, because this is just a sham!

Doctor won't see you until you are registered, then when you get registered which takes two weeks you try to get an appointment on the phone and they are constantly engaged....so you end up calling 111 then being sent miles away to a same day clinic only to be sent to hospital a&e where a medical team are waiting to examine a heart condition...thanks Meadowside...no care here...

To try and contact someone gets worse by the week , they say they are shortstaffed , if that is the case why don't they employ more people , its simple ring the job centre I am sure there are many people would be happy to work as a receptionist
