There was a woman by the name of Ari that took her time with all of us to make sure everyone was happy. Thank you Ari for taking care of my family and I! My family and I visited this location on a Saturday. There was 9 of us. The staff was completely energetic and ready to help all of us with our individual tastes and needs. My mother being the pickiest of the bunch was able to find a great frame that matched her prescription and her face. She is very happy with the selection and was able to get her glasses in a few days. I am happy to rate this store with 5 stars based on the quality of service.

Friendly staff. My insurance was verified after i browsed the store for frames i liked even though i was really there for contacts. No pressure during my browsing. When i was ready to do business it was handled in the most professional manner. Optician is the professional and patient. Answered all my questions.Their prices are more reasonable than their competitor in the mall.
I went to this place because of an available Groupon offering a free eye exam and 200 towards my glasses. I thought it was a great deal, but I ended up spending an additional 250 on the glasses even with choosing the cheapest frame which basically equalled the whole covered 200 and then I paid for the lenses which makes sense. I understand the amount I had to pay it's a sneaky trick but it makes sense. What makes me mad is that when I went for my super old school exam they didn't bother to take my measurements for the glasses or anything so once I went to pick them up I told the woman at the desk they were too tight and she said they would stretch out. I don't recommend this place not just because of the Groupon but also because of the way they operate.
Was in the area on vacation. Had a bag with my glasses and contact lenses stolen and called to see if I could get replacement lenses at short notice. My home optician had emailed me my prescription but the person I spoke to at Sterling obtusely insisted I bring a printed copy rather than just showing the prescription on my phone or forwarding the email. I explained had no access to a printer but no effort was made to understand my situation. I went to Cohen's instead and found staff there far more helpful.
Don't go here... rip off and the OD, optometrist will not give u detailed prescription ,if you want to get glasses or contact from different places. When I asked he told me .. we dont need to give those details...
Staff is very rude and not helpful at all. Definitely would not recommend considering the fact that they told me corporate pushes sales and isn't at all considerate on customers price ranges for glasses. Essentially the woman helping me find a pair of glasses didn't apply my insurances allowance and committed insurance fraud. Very disappointed and will not be going back. Do not go to sterling optical to get glasses. Overpriced and rude employees. They are not looking out for your best interest!
The actual eye doctor was good but the customer service from the sales people was terrible. They are very rude and fail to deliver on promises. I would avoid this place at all costs.
spoke to "ella" a worker there she is a liar , I told her my son broke his glasses and I need the prescription numbers to get a new pair of glasses she stated she could not give it to me if it was more than one year old, she came back said it too old, she hesitated to give me the dates , then I called the Dr. who gave the original prescription , they promptly sent me the prescription. That's a shame that she could not send me the information. when I made the purchase for the glasses in the Broadwy Mall store. Customer Service is garbage there , I will not go there ever again!
