We lived in Carlyle Mill Apartments for a year and we had a great experience with the building, location and management team. What really made the difference, as is often the case, was the great customer service that Tiana and her team offered us. Given the uncertainty that the pandemic brought Tiana was able to work with us to ensure that we could handle a couple of rough spots for my business. She was very understanding and supportive. Jada was also excellent whenever we engaged with her throughout our time there. Always friendly and smiling. And we loved the food trucks! Highly recommend this place if you live in the DMV area. And once the pandemic is over, and you have to commute it's less than half a mile from the metro!

This review is for Faren in the leasing office. Faren has been absolutely amazing with helping us out with every need that we have come to her with. Although we have experienced some water leaking issues over our year here, Faren has stopped at nothing to ensure we are happy with the community. She is always eager to help, and always carries a bright and inviting personality when speaking to members of the community. She is a large reason why we decided to sign another year long lease. Thanks Faren for your help!
Leasing staff is very friendly. However, after living here for a year the garage door has been broken about 3-4 times for weeks at a time, the trash compactor has broken twice for extended periods of time, and they switch between AC and heating which gives you a lovely period of sweaty discomfort in early spring and late autumn.
Honestly, the leasing staff is beyond amazing. I had Faren May (if you can request her, I whole heartedly recommend her!) she answered our questions and concerns within MINUTES. She gave us a walk through on the entire complex, explained what each staff will assist with, a break down of how cautious they are especially during this pandemic. She assisted me with the entire application process and went out of her way for a video tour, as well as a self tour. The leasing staff welcomed and cheered for me and my fiancé upon our final signing and pick up of keys. They all welcomed me and were super excited for our arrival. She even went as far as to walk us to our unit and express her excitement for the new apartment. They even had a welcome home card ready for us, with her number as well as other numbers in the event that any problems or assistance is needed. I can’t wait to fully move in completely!
I have lived here for 2 months now and I love this place! It's so quiet in the area and is in the perfect location close to your favorite bar and restaurants, a easy walk to the metro or drive to get onto the highway and so close to the famous king street where all the fun is at! The amenities are extremely convenient and they're a must see in person to really capture how nice they are. The apartments have different styles and are very top notch. There is plenty of places to stow stuff away in the apartments and if you run out of room, the storage units are affordable and within walking distance, maybe even right next to your apartment! The apartments have four floors and 2 big parking garages, with a tennis court and basketball court on top of one of the garages. Perfect place to get a tan in the summer. The Carlyle Team is very helpful and friendly as well, always providing help and hosting holiday events. I only wish the fitness center that's amazing already had a pull up bar and rowing machine added to it to top off its superbness!
