I’ve lived in this complex for 3 years in a one and two bedroom apartments, and I’ve lived on top floor and bottom floor. The complex is generally quiet, clean, feels safe, and the people are friendly. The Office Manager and maintenance are awesome; very friendly, they work with you, and they take care of things promptly. Negatives: the apartments could stand to be updated, and the insulation between upstairs and downstairs neighbors is not good. This isn’t the nicest looking apartment I’ve ever lived in but it is the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. The views are great and neighbors are nice.

I met the love of my life here and so can you! True story—they moved her into a unit in the building right next door and we met at the dog park, which darn it if it isn't just the best place ever to hang with the 'ol doggos. Anyway, we have a ton in common so clearly they asked the right questions on her application. The chemistry was through the roof. So move here if you're looking for a life partner. Oh, management is cool and rent is reasonable too.

I have returned to live here at Bridgehead Apartments after moving away from Austin for a time. Over time, I have lived in three different places in Austin. Bridgehead is the apartment complex in Austin that has made me feel the most comfortable, safe welcomed. After living in many different places across the country, I have never worked with a management staff as communicative, kind helpful as Erin Tim. Erin makes me feel like a valued tenant in every way is always available to answer questions. Tim is fantastic with maintenance. Yes the staff is small but to have two dedicated reliable staff members at an apartment complex is rare. Erin Tim are about people not money. I appreciate them so much am very grateful for my time here.

I had the MOST FRUSTRATING DISAPPOINTING move out experience with the management! I GUARANTEE that you not only have to forget out about your security deposit, but also anticipate lots of NON SENSE charges at the end. They make you owe them, instead of refunding your deposit. My apartment was all cleaned up and everything was as it was before. I even moved out a week earlier. Only carpet needed cleaning. They charged me 140 for cleaning! Then a lot of other non-sense charges! Be prepared for a huge shock if you plan to renew your lease or move out!!! ------DO NOT MOVE HERE----- Building is old, you can sense mold, not secure, car/mail thefts. I even once had break in attempt to my unit, reported it to police. Also plan to add another 60 t whatever your monthly rent is on the lease. Every month they send you a fun 60 building maintenance bill.

This place is really old, and the management is terrible to match. Management has lots of turnover and is also very inconsistent. Expect a lot of bugs and rodents. The maintenance guy is very good, but does not have a lot to work with. They will also nickel & dime you at every turn. Do not expect a return for deposit as they will find a reason hold-on to those funds. It's how they do business. Beware.
