I had a Facial with Ashley Johnson and it was very relaxing, professional with good communication. She also did my brows and I was very pleased!!
Keiten choices in colors for my hair was spectacular! She did full highlights with a splash of Orchid and purple on one side. With the haircut added I look stunning. It was a fun visit will do this again!!
I called Tuana European Hair Design last minute after a color gone wrong and Ali, a new stylist at the shop, by no means a novice to hair industry, managed to work me into her busy schedule that afternoon! The salon had an open warm vibe with huge windows and tons of natural light soaking in. I was greeted by a friendly “awake” receptionist, no zombies or self absorbed stylists doing their own hair, ignoring the customers, yet a group that rallied to actually hear me and make suggestions on how to tweek my “hot root“ color snafu into a gorgeous butter blonde shade! My pixie cut needed a little love around the neck and ears and Ali was happy to oblige my requests by trimming minimally, while I let my hair grow to a lob. I expected the price, due to the nature of my emergency, to break the bank but again, I was happily surprised to find it affordable. Thank you Team Tuana, I’ll most certainly be back!
The woman who cut and colored my hair was amazing. Incredibly communicative and very sweet. While I don’t remember her name I would get my hair done by her again. But with that being said, her teacher at the academy made me feel horrible about getting my hair dyed there. I have a lot of hair and I used a lot of dye. The entire encounter with this woman was essentially her telling me that I used SOOO much dye. She told me I was lucky the store was so close because she had to go buy more dye. I know it wasn’t her intention to make me feel bad but she consistently emphasized how it was ridiculous how much dye I needed and it made me feel really bad about getting my hair dyed there.
