Moved to the area in July. Not once has my repeat prescriptions been done smoothly. It takes multiple calls chasing with often missing doses as it isn't sorted on time. The prescriptions do not change and are lifelong requested over a week before they run out so should be straightforward to refill. I am very glad they are not for a life-threatening condition or birth control or this would have bad consequences. Hopefully once the new app for requesting the prescription is sorted this will stop happening. If not I will need to switch GPs. Thoroughly frustrated!!

1 \u003e By the time you get an appointment you may be dead. 2 \u003e The doctors differ significantly in quality. a \u003e A few genuinely try to help you, but most try to get rid of you asap by either dismissing your ailments, or by jumping to medicine without verified diagnosis. b \u003e With the low quality docs on several occassions I've found that they lack essential information on common ailments. Luckily I invest time in educating myself and highlight their mistakes during appointments, but this must be terrible for most people (potentially damaging, see point a).
Just tried to make an appointment for next week but apparently appointments cannot be booked. Have to ring in the morning or in the afternoon. Been with this surgery for over 30 years & it has slowly gone downhill. Dr Stone doesn't seem to have time or interest in what you are there for & you're lucky if you get 3 minutes of his time.
