Since being in Atlanta the last 18 years, I have had numerous surgeries both in patient and out. This past Monday, August 24th, I had out patient surgery on my rotator cuff at Resurgens at St Joseph. They have always taken great care of me but this time you would have thought I was royalty. The service was outstanding from the time I checked in to my discharge. Every member of the team was cheerful, helpful, and extremely compassionate. All I can say is WOW!!!!! If you ever are in need of orthopedic surgery you could do no better than the team at Resurgens at St Josep

I was diagnosed with osteomyelitus in the bones of both feet. I decided to reuse the services of Resurgens' Doctor Erroll Bailey. My wife Margie and I had discovered several alternative treatments. One x-ray was taken. Doctor Bailey informed us that he wanted to do amputations on both my feet!! He dismissed the alternatives as being offered by doctors who \didn't understand the dymanics of the situation.\ He was immediately put on suspension until we had tried out the other alternatives. The alternatives succeeded. I fired Doctor Bailey accordingly. One year later I recontacted Resurgens to see about some other surgical needs. I was told by Senior Manager Trish Moore that Resurgens would no longer accept me as a patient!! She said that just as I had the right to terminate Doctor Bailey that Resurgens had the right to terminate me[??]. Doctor Kay Kirkpatrick, Co-President of Resurgens, informed me that they had assumed that my firing of Doctor Bailey included me firing the entire Resurgens operation as well. I've since located another surgeon, read several reviews on the Resurgens operation, and come to one conclusion. Good-bye, Resurgens--and good riddance!!--Tom Reilly

Whoever files for insurance companies for this company does not file it on time and they try to get you to pay it. I'll go all over the state of Georgia before using them again. I've talked the insurance company several times and each time told the claim wasn't filed in time and it's not my fault.
