I had delivered 4 of my children at Renton Vally midwives , it was the best place i could have choose. My first midwife was Kristina who delivered my child in 2012 was exceptional then my second baby was delivered by Carol and she was amazing too. Since then Valley Midwife was my go place, I had a lot of respect and love This year I am pregnant my 5th child, I have been seeing Jocelyn who is down to earth, easy to talk and answer all my questions. I decided to change every Thursday that I used used to see Jocelyn to different day Since then I’m having a hard time finding a midwife to see me. Starting last week I’m having contractions but it’s not a strong contraction so I requested to have a membrane sweep since it worked in my past Pregnancy. I’ve been told there is no opening appointment for me therefore if I need membrane sweep , I will welcome to come in the valley medical a birth center to have it done by on call midwife. I called on Friday spoke to Cindy and She told me to come in the birth center. Then five minutes later she called me back and said I’m sorry you cannot come in because the nurses at the Birth Center refused and said, they are short in nurses so they don’t want to take a chance of you go to labor after membranes sweep. I was so frustrated and angry who gives them the power to decide. I myself as a nurse and I know it is my right to get the service that I requested so I was really hurt to hear the midwife go long with the nurses. Today it is 12/14/20 at 9am I’m past my due date and last time I have been seeing was last Monday. When I called clinic this morning, they said there is no midwife in all their locations so I have to wait tomorrow to be seeing. At point I don’t what to do. I feel like that I’m stuck and unhappy.

I love Jocelyn she's an amazing midwife and has answered all my questions and is non-judgey as this is my 1st pregnancy. I had to go to a facility in auburn one time during the pandemic and will not return to that midwife or clinic as it seemed unorganized and a little judgey with my questions. But Jocelyn has been informative and amazing at the Renton valley facility! Front desk staff has always called to set up next appointments or have been informative with questions I have as well.

I had the absolute worst experience at this office. After my very first appointment I never returned. I had a prior cesarean 9 years ago and wanted to do a vbac. The first midwife I saw told me what a “risk” I was about 10 times until I became upset and started to cry. She told me she “wasn’t there to tell me not to worry my pretty little head.” She also brought up my weight multiple times and I am by no means large or overweight. I wasn’t given any useful information by her in terms of my pregnancy besides where to wear my seatbelt.. I would not recommend this clinic to anyone I know. Unfortunately there might be good midwives here since there are many in the office but I was not willing to find out after that appointment.

I give this place two star because of Angie, medical assistants and front desk crew. Angie is one if the midwives, she was so nice and very patient. I also wondered why the midwives were not diverse. It’s a small clinic, but very convenient. If you wanted your bloodwork, imaging, and pharmacy, it’s all in the same building, of course the birthing center too!

Love their laid back, natural approach to maternity care. I delivered my 3rd baby with them and am pretty close to delivering my 4th (and last) baby under their care. It’s always a pleasure to meet with them.

On July 27th our daughter was born. Renton Vally midwives was the best place i could of choosen.. Olivia was my midwife the night I delivered. My experience with midwives was nothing but exceptional.. my birthing experience was amazing would definitely recommend..
