Ok so all these 1-star reviewers have no experience with Kara and Julie. I have! My daughter was born December 2018 and it was the most serene beautiful experience possible. The midwives were caring and attentive to all my medical needs. They let me do what was most comfortable to work through my contractions. They offered great advice to help me through the most difficult parts. I felt empowered and in control as I lifted my baby girl out of the birth pool and into my arms. Absolutely love Kara and Julie!! Don't listen to the haters!!!

Kara and Julie are some of the best midwives in the region. One of the original reasons I sought them out is because they are not only midwives, but medically trained certified nurse midwives who could handle most anything that could happen and if they could not, would have the expertise to know when to call it. I have had two amazing home births with them. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to deliver my babies. They are highly trained, believe in moms, offer informed consent, and are the best support you could ask for in a birth from a medical provider and a midwife. You won’t find anyone better than Kara and Julie. For both of my births they came as soon as I was in labor and stayed until well after baby was born, ensuring that baby and I had all of the care we needed during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Simply the best care around that you can get and the gold standard for midwifery.
Kara and Julie are exceptional caregivers. I would never dream of having a baby without them. Going through your pregnancy and birth and after care with these women would be your best decision. I advise you to do the same. I’ve had both my children in the care of these ladies. First one in research medical Center and my second very recently at home. My labour was so simple and I was surrounded by caring, loving family. Kara and Julie have years of experience as RNs and CNMs. They care SO MUCH about your well being and what is best for you. They use fact based research and years of experience to provide the best care any mother could ask for. Please just do yourself a service and make an appointment with them if you’re expecting. I would give them 10 stars if google would let me. I would be more than happy to speak with anyone considering home birth with these women. I guarantee you anyone who’s been in their care would say the same as me and more. They’re not just exceptional caregivers, they are my friends. I would do anything for them.
Julie and Kara took incredible care of me during my third pregnancy. Throughout my pregnancy, at every visit, they were knowledgeable, helpful, caring and patient with me. I attempted a home birth, but we decided to transfer to the hospital. Julie herself drove me to the hospital of my choice, IN A SNOW STORM, with ice on the road. She was exceptionally careful and we all arrived at the hospital safely. A few hours later, after Kara took over my care, my baby was delivered skillfully and peacefully, as only midwives with this experience could have done. No surgery or sutures needed. Julie and Kara provided aftercare that was impeccable. I love how they fawn over our babies. These women have definitely found their calling. I fully plan on hiring Midwife Partners to accompany me during any future pregnancies. I wish I had lived in Kansas to hire them when I was pregnant with my older babies!
My experience with midwife partners has always been amazing. My prenatal care was very thorough and personable - I felt heard, educated and well prepared as this was my first baby. The care I received during and after labor and delivery went above and beyond my expectations, and Kara definitely went the extra mile to ensure that breastfeeding and my recovery was going smoothly as well. After my experience with them, I could not recommend them highly enough. So grateful for their care!
