Nice National Trust to visit. Small car park though. Make your way through the courtyard and shop up through the woodland path to the main level where you can either walk through the grounds (too wet on this occasion) or visit the house to your right. While in the woodland are check out the carvings on the seats as you go past. The 1st floor of the house was open but the 2nd (top) floor was closed due to renovation work. However, what we saw was stunning especially the colour and mirrors in the rooms and how it was laid out. The formal gardens are a little small (and closed off due to the season). Lots of ground for children, dogs (and enthusiastic adults) can release their energy.

Well worth getting there. The parkland walls are extensive and challenging. The arrangements for social distancing are good.
