This is a beautiful place to visit in any moment of the year, however the experience of getting there is very bad. I tried to drive the entire road up to the volcanoes Mocho and Choshuenco now on September 20th, 2013, but even driving a 4 x 4 it was impossible to get there and not a single 4 x 4 could cross at least that day as there was an area 9 - 10 Kms before reaching the end of that road in which it was simply cut as it has over 50 cms of pure mud which made it non trans-passable. The road is totally abandoned according to people of the area, therefore it is a pitty, as from the top you can see several lakes and volcanoes. There is another road to get there through Huilo-Huilo park and we took it the next day and reached there to an area where a small ski resort operates.

Hermoso paisaje, eso sí son 2.5 horas caminando si es que no subes en 4x4. Al llegar al parador tumba del buey, se puede disfrutar de algo de nieve, entretenido para los niños.
Hermoso lugar , se puede apreciar la hermosa y centenaria naturaleza, muy amables en la recepción del lugar , entregan información muy clara . Hay que ir con ropa cómoda, zapatos cómodos para caminar y agua
El camino es abordable para autos normales hasta el ingreso al parque luego debe ser con 4wd. El sendero del puma es hermoso 3.8 km para llegar a una vista panorámica muy linda. Lo único malo son las moscas que molestan gran parte del sendero por lo que recomiendo ponerse repelente o llevar algo con que espantarlas al menos en verano. Lo demás es disfrutar el trekking.
Se puede llegar en auto 4x4 a pocos metros del mirador o disfrutar a pie de distintos senderos. Actualmente algunos de ellos se encuentran cerrados, pero logramos recorrer varios y disfrutar de hermosos paisajes . Si solo sigues el camino vehicular el trekking es de 2 horas aprox.
Totalmente recomendable. Fácil acceso. Tranquilidad. Se puede llegar hasta el Mirador del Buey en un 4x4
Precioso. Contemplarlos miradores en silecio es magico. Se escucha el sonido del viento entre las montañas. Es magico todo.
