Must see place for nature lovers. I visited here on August 8 with my family. Although it wasn’t the best season we had fun. There were many flowers to see. The rest area is designed very well. It was relaxing. There is a cafe. The ice-cream abd kakigori were huge and delicious. The best season to visit here is May and early June they said. You can also enjoy koyou- autumn colors in September and October. The garden is huge and steeped. Make sure you have walking shoes. The map was helpful. It may not be easy for handicapped people. There are many photo taking spots. They have photo taking contest. Check the details on the web. Free parking available.

This place is big. And hilly. If you wish to see a lot of flower blooming come on spring around early May. There is a small cafe in the middle of plaza that sells cakes and pasta dishes.

【お花見三昧】 よく晴れた朝に 11日間で3つ目のお花見目的の行脚です。 午後からぐずつく予報でしたので、先日FB友達からご紹介あった【泉ボタニカルガーデン】に初訪問してまいりました。 このコロナ禍の中、いよいよ都合が会うのは最後であろう娘と向かいます。 気温は上がったものの、湿気が少なくジメジメのない爽やかな好天、森の蒼さがよく映えます。 敷地内は山道のある山野草が観賞できるエリアと、季節のバラが咲き誇る清々しいガーデンがあります。 綺麗に管理された広場は飼い犬を連れて散策される方も多数いらっしゃいました。 敷地面積はみちのく湖畔公園ほどとはいきませんが、山道ルートと合わせると運動量は同等、もしくはそれ以上に感じるかもしれません。 一通り歩きましたら小休憩するスペースもお洒落でゆったりと時を過ごせます。 少し前には、圧巻のシャクナゲが観賞できた名残を残しつつ、今のメインはバラでした。 さらに先には山道側の紫陽花が見頃を迎えます。 また機会を作って再訪したくなる場所でした。

１０月３１日のハロウィンマルシェと言うイベントを開催してました。 新型コロナ対策をしっかりおこなって、家族連れで賑わってました。 この時期は花の開花もほとんどなく、多少の紅葉を楽しむ位なのですが、イベントの開催で楽しいひとときを味わえました。 宝探しゲームはじめ、仮装コンテスト、ワークショップ、ハンドメイドショップの出店などで、芝生広場が、賑わっていました。 なんと言っても、泉中央から、３０分位の近さは魅力ですね。 今度は、たくさんの木がある、シャクナゲの咲く早春の時期にうかがおうと思います。 それでは、ハッピーハロウィン! PS.散策路が傾斜地にあり、車椅子やベビーカーの利用は危険です、広場の脇側から、入れなければなりません。 スタッフに声がけして下さい。

のんびりで来て、トレッキングみたいに山を登り降りして運動にもなるし、季節の花をみられるので、のんびりゆっくりできます。 お弁当持参だとベンチで食べたりできるし、4/11からは食事も出来そうなので楽しめます。 今日はプレオープンで今の時期だけの花を見せていただきました可憐な花が見られて楽しかったです
