Nice quiet stopover if you're into plants and nature. Entrance fee was cheap 3 for adult or 7 for the whole family which also covers parking. The botanic gardens itself was actually very big and it took me about an hour and a half to cover the whole track. The pathway takes you through native bush, woodlands, succulents and cactus, an orchid greenhouse and lush rainforest. There were also some native birds in here so is great for birdwatchers too. Lots of wildflowers throughout the whole path and lots of interesting plants that I've never seen before. Also there's a small plant shop stall where you can pick up some native plants and trees as well as some ferns and indoor plants.

Great day out in the environment of social distancing and worth it anytime the mozzies aren’t out and biting. The gardens themselves are quite large and make for a very pleasant walk. The staff are nice and friendly. Limited choices in the cafe but we didn’t go there for the coffee. Good place to take a family.

Friendly staff, coffee is excellent. Children will love it where they can play. Sure I will be back another day.

Great set of volunteer-run gardens on flat, easy to get around paths. Only saw about a third of the place this visit, so give yourself the day to see it all. Mozzies were quite bad due to the recent wet weather, so drown youself in repellent, or visit on a sunny day after a few cold nights has reduced their numbers.

Nice space. In need of large cash injection for much needed upgrades and maintenance.

Horrible experience. Called in there with group of disability clients. Pulled up in my work car to drop a gentleman off to meet up with his peers to eat lunch (Easter traffic was epic, so could not pull into any other local park area). Just called in to use the outside table eatery area so our clients could eat their fish n chips... Was greeted by an older women who aggressively pointed to the “no parking” sign while I was unloading my client (note: parking is NOT free, turn your engine off, it will cost you), and demanded I parked in the car park. Clients ate their lunch without entering the gardens, then the older women demanded entrance/parking fee to let them out. Explained that we’re a not for profit organisation, and that the group don’t have money, but she insisted that they all paid entrance fee to leave. I ended up paying out of my own pocket (by the way, they don’t accept companion passes) just to get out of the presence of this horribly rude women. Mozzies are horrible. No way to park without paying. Staff lack empathy and compassion. Will forever speak poorly of this experience. Avoid.

Great day out, checking out plants with the Goose kids we work with. The Cactus and succulents they have there are quiet extensive and it's a really good place to see plants you would not normally see. Highly recommend this place. Only draw back are the mosquitos the size of horses, however they do provide spray at the place for them. It's got well established paths that Wheelchairs can access no worries at all.
