Parking can be a bit tricky at popular times but it is well worth waiting for a space. Lots of clear colour coded walks in a beautiful well kept park. Lots of interesting sculptures and features. Very good for getting a drink & snacks. A really lovely place for a walk & a picnic

Great little park , good range of walks , has a little coffee shop and a little covered area with picnic tables. Nice safe play area for kids. Well worth half a day out if you want a nice walk and only costs 2 a day for parking

Visited many times with the children, as it's a really lovely place to go for a walk, or bike ride. Dogs are welcome too but on a lead in certain areas as there's livestock on the Heathland. Nice nature trails/hike routes. Toilets, very reasonable car park charge (pay and display) and playground and gazebo picnic area.

A great natural woodland with plenty of well maintained, waymarked tracks of varying lengths of between half and two miles. Good playground for younger children close to the car park and some impressive wood carvings to be seen as you walk round. Toilets, a visitor centre and Hetty's House cafe also next to the car park.

A great place we went and it poured down so if it's wet make sure you have wellies or boots. Parking is a bit tricky be sure to have cash on you. The guided and signposted walks aren't that long so if you want a longer walk be prepped to go off track.
