The worst insurance company i have ever been with. my partner had a non fault accident in February luckily there was a witness as the 3rd party is claiming its our fault. Hastings has apparently made 3 attempts to contact without any luck yet myself and the solicitor had no problem. We are 9 months on and still no help from Hastings in trying to get this claim completed. no one ever seems to have a clue when i call and emails never get a reply. So no matter how good the quote is there is a reason for it, they don't actually provide any service for your money.

Incompetent insurance company; I was paying for a service “black box” which failed me. Turns out my black box stopped working which they NEVER picked up on until I called them asking what my score was. They then cancelled my insurance due to their poor service and making me pay a cancellation fee for them to cancel my policy due to their mistake. I then cancelled my insurance due to the service I received for them to take a payment a month later for my original insurance I had with them and they can’t refund me until the payment clears when they shouldn’t have taken it anyway. Disgusted, they will pass the blame on and won’t own up to their mistakes... go somewhere else! Not even worthy of a star.

The WORST customer service I have ever received. The telematics box is an absolute SCAM. They will give you a faulty box and give you very little on how to fit it. Once you do fit it, it wont work and you will be charged a massive cancellation fee. The customer service is an absolute joke. I would avoid like the plague! If I could give them zero stars I would have.

I used this company for nearly 4 years. I had an accident and my car was deemed to be a total loss. They admitted liability even though the third party was clearly speeding and had NO VALID MOT. They categorised my car as being a CAT D. I originally wanted to buy the car back and was given a price. When i didn't want the car as the price they were giving back to me was too high, they listed on Copart as a CAT B - BREAKER! If they know the car shouldn't be back on the road, why would you try to defraud a customer and rip them off - this is illegal to have a CAT B car back on the road! This car at Copart sold for less than half the price they tried to sell it at. Be aware of this company before purchasing insurance from them.
