My Testimonial My experience attending Harmon's Beauty School was a pretty good experience. I didn't know that taking up a career like Cosmetology could be so much to take on and so much to learn about, but it's worth it. The instructors there are great, especially Ms. G. I like how if I was struggling with certain things she wouldn't hesitate to stop what she was doing to show me how to get it done or when times got hard and if I felt like giving up Ms. G pushed me through until the end and never gave me the opportunity to quit. As far as the learning portion A! I received the extra help and guidance that I needed to be successful in this field, to graduate and be able to successfully pass my State Board and become a Licensed Cosmetologist. Despite of the minor disagreements, Harmon's is a great school to attend and that would be my first recommended school to anyone that wanted to take up Cosmetology. If I was asked would I go through it again I would simply say to them "Of course I would and I wouldn't do anything differently. It's something I love to do, it's my passion. Even through the stress, sweat, blood and tears I'd most definitely do it all over again." Thank you Ms. G for allowing me the opportunity to become a student at your school, thank you for giving me the proper education, skills and techniques to be successful in this field of business. Thank you for always staying on me about being serious and focused and most importantly thank you, thank you, thank you for teaching me the real definition of PROFESSIONALISM. Thanks to Ms. G, Ms. Griffin and Ms. Frazier I am proud to say I attended Harmon's Beauty School and I am now a licensed Cosmetologist is the state of Maryland!

My experience at Harmon's Beauty School clinic has been a remarkable one. The professional atmosphere and the customer service provided by the students and staff are formidable. While the cost for services is more than reasonable, the results mirror those of professional, licensed stylists. The services are provided by supervised students. Ms. "G", one of the instructors who provides supervision, has a no nonsense approach to salon services. While her approach may not be easy on the students, it reassures clients and increases their level of comfort. Whether behind the desk or a curling iron, Ms. "G" provides an excellent example for these future stylists. I congratulate Harmon's Beauty School for commendable service!
When ever I decide to cut hair, I always come here because the prices is reasonable, I'm helping the students get their clinical hours, and they've never disappointed me. Ms. G Marie is always there to guide, and help her students. She has a real passion for teaching, and not many teachers do. Thank you so much for sharing your passion Ms. G. I love the haircut that I received today. Shout out to Ms. Pierceson for all the services she provided for me today, she did an amazing job. I was truly impressed and satisfied with the services she provided for me today. I'll always be a long time customer as long as Harmon's beauty school is around.
Harmon's Beauty School is a great place to get your beauty requirements, I love getting my lashes and eyebrows done there! I also love getting my hair treated and colored there.They've hooked me up with beautiful colors that I love getting compliments on! They tell you and teach you how to take care of your hair and what your hair needs. The students and staff are friendly and work very diligently. I've always been satisfied and look forward to every visit!
Harmon's Beauty School is into healthy hair and hair care maintenance. I go every week and the prices are more than reasonable. Ms. G and staff are very professional. They are very hospitable and just makes you feel welcomed. They know every thing about the clients' hair. Because they keep a running record/history of my services, they tell me what services I need to get. This keeps my hair healthy and strong. Super Thanks to Harmon's!!!
I've been a long-time customer, but I decided to change my hairstyle. I recently got a soft roller set. If you have natural hair, this style can be tricky even for the most experienced stylist. Ms. Brown worked wonders. The entire process took her less than an hour. I received so many compliments in the days following. My hair looked full, lustrous, healthy and the curls held up in the humidity. Would highly recommend.
When I have sat in some very expensive Hairdressers' seats here in the DMV only for them to tell me, "Honey, you are going to have to get a perm/relaxer, or at least a partial on the sides in order to keep this haircut". Not-SO. Because of the openness, willingness, and patience to try and do the wishes of the client, attention to detail, professionalism, and PRICES, you can find me and my hair cut without a perm/relaxer sitting up in Harmon's Beauty School. I believe I am one of the few male clients of the Harmon's Beauty School and I've been getting my hair cut for about six years now. Ms. Jean-Marie is the school director who runs the place like a top, no-nonsense, disciplined, yet very caring top professional. She's also very courteous and friendly to her clients, including me! I often get my hair cut by Ms. Jean-Marie or other teaching staff, instead of the students, and still get charged only 8 for the service - you can't beat that! It's a shame that not more men take advantage of the professional hair service provided at such bargain prices. Anyway, I still plan on getting my hair cut there, as long as everything remain the same, including the head director!
