A lovely place to walk in nature and relax, you can find silent and a lot of corners to take amazing pictures.

The Botanical Gardens Flora of Cologne is a wonderful set of gardens in the north west of the city and very easy to reach by tram. As soon as you enter, you're presented with an amazing view of an Italian style garden that ends with the Palace of the Botanical Gardens. The rest of the botanical gardens is laid out fairly irregularly with lots of paved walkways. Though not quite as irregular as English gardens, there's not fixed shaped to the themed gardens within. It's a real pity the tropical gardens was undergoing renovations. It's still worth a visit if you have time and feel like a walk in pleasant surroundings.

Beautiful gardens. Free entrance. The restaurant handled covid-19 precautions beautifully, with a sink for hand-washing as you come up the stairs and outdoor-seating only, overlooking the gardens. The food is DELICIOUS!

This is a fantastic place. They are doing a great job arranging the plants. There are pretty flowers in the spring when everything is a bit down. The warm feeling from the beauty of nature cures my depression.
