It is very important to us that we deliver great value, offering quality products, professional and helpful advice and friendly, trained staff who can help with all needs. Owen Hearing Ltd was formed by James Owen, our Managing Director in October 2009 to provide an excellent hearing aid service to the Kent & Sussex areas. James has been a qualified hearing aid consultant for 16 years. In August 2010, we were joined by Helen Terry, our Business Development Director, to assist with the business expansion, to provide an excellent mobility service to the Kent & Sussex areas as well as hearing. Helen has previous experience working within the hearing aid industry and has a strong customer service focus. From September 2010 we have acquired three established shops in Crowborough, West Wickham and Staines. Present day finds us continuing to provide valuable community services, such as free hearing health checks and free mobility assessments. These can be carried out in branch or at home, with no obligation. We are a growing company who are focused on becoming a competitive chain in the South East area and will always consider dynamic individuals who want to help us achieve that goal. This was the first time I have ever suffered from ear problems and really felt at ease with the whole process. They dealt with me quickly and efficiently especially with the Covid rules and I felt really at ease there. After the initial consultation, I experienced my first ever \micro suction\ and it was pain free and successful in relieving me of the wax buildup. I would definitely return and recommend them to anyone who asks.

My wife was very please that she does not have to repeat everything twice now!! Love my new \ears\. I went for the more expensive ones that bluetooth to your phone, so I can now take calls, listen to music and videos. I can also go to the app and change the settings if I'm in a crowded room and all you can hear is the loudmouth behind you and not the person thats standing right in front of you. Great job

Had my hearing assessed at this establishment and was given information about suitable hearing aids. The salesman seemed very knowledgeable until I asked some specific questions at which point he waved his arms about and suggested that all this technical stuff was just a bit unnecessary. When it came to costs he very neatly dropped his voice as he said x,000 leaving me to think the price was lower than it was. Later when I sought clarification it appeared the price was an exact round figure in thousands. Other information given regarding the price differential between different types of aid was certainly not in accordance with the norm for this industry. No breakdown of price for the two aids and a remote control was provided. Afterward I checked the cost of the same hearing aids at major providers from Harley Street to Nuffield Hospitals and the aids were priced between 1,300 and 1,600 each. That is a whole lot less than the total quoted by this establishment. Suggest others shop around before committing to buying from Hearing and Mobility.
