I moved to this surgery around a year ago and have found the staff to be incredible, especially in comparison to the surgery I left. Every member of staff has treated me with dignity and respect and I really appreciate the hard effort they are going to in these difficult times.

Been with this surgery for almost 40 years and both my husband and I have always received exceptional care from the excellent medical team there. My husband is in the high risk category and it is particularly important for him to have the annual Flu jab. I appreciate the current tremendous pressures on surgeries but when I rang up about 3 weeks ago to query the start date of this years flu appointments I was curtly told that nothing was in place and to ring back at the end of September. I now find out that numerous friends and relatives from other surgeries have already had their flu jab or else have appointments over the next few days. None of these people are in a high risk group. We have tried ringing the surgery for an update but just can't get through. An update on your website would have been useful. We have sadly resorted to booking appointments with Tesco pharmacy instead.

Used to be so grateful to have cestria as my doctors until lockdown. The way they have treated and pushed away their patients is just unexceptable. They have no consideration for people who work nights therefore if you cqnt wake up early to ring for a phone call appointment you will not get any help whatsoever..and if you do apparently there isn't any left..but if you argue they can magically find a phone call appointment. As others have said if you're a receptionist and have no empathy or kindness towards patients you're in the wrong job. Where as the nurses and doctors theyre wonderful but thats if you can even get to them. I understand there is a pandemic going on and they are trying to reduce the amount of face to face contact but you can't just keep handing out prescriptions and antibiotics and expect them to work. The stress i have had from trying to just recieve a phone call appointment is appalling and has really affected my mental health. Patients need to feel valued like they were before.

I was with this practice for nigh on 40 years and have seen it grow into what it is today. The nurses and doctors have always been superb but over the last year both of my parents have been let down in a big way by the surgery. My father will only ever call for an appointment as a last resort but just can't get one. Same with my mother last year, they both feel massively let down by the practice. Again this does not reflect on the superb medical staff but maybe a bit more empathy from the reception team would help. I'd love to praise more but seeing my parents suffering as they are just isn't encouraging me at all :-( Following on from this, Thank you for taking the time to reply, I have explained to my father the new procedure for calling in and how it works, there just isn't enough information given to the public at this time, no wonder older people are struggling! My father has spoken to a doctor this morning and hopefully things will start moving forward.... Thanks to you and all the staff at the surgery

The gp’s are fab but always a snidey comment or attitude from the receptionists , yes I understand they have worked all through lock down as have I but goodness , if you aren’t a caring person you aren’t in the right job !! Over the last year 8/10 phone calls have been handled with attitude or back handed comments .
