Every time I come to the Flemish coast I take a walk from Koksijde to Dunkirk. Via De Panne, Bray Dunes and the dunes. It's so refreshing. There is only a few people on the beach and more or less nobody in the dunes. Time to clear my mind. To think things over. I love it.

Visited Bray-Dunes for the first time and was a nice experience. Lovely beach to walk our dogs, still old quaint houses, and the dunes was a lovely spot to relax in the Autumn sun. Would definately visit again.
The smallest natural reserve I have ever seen, still amazing place, great walk from Dunkirk immersed in the nature
Beautiful beaches and dunes with significant history. Bray Dunes at low tide let's you see ship remnants from operation dynamo. Haunting, tragic and humbling.
Another highlight for walks
Nice place to be away from the crowd and listen the nature’s minimalistic call.
A sad but meaningful piece of history.
A reminder of operation dynamo, the mass evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) in May 1940. They successfully evacuated approx 338,000 brave troops by using over a 1000 ships. Some of these were pleasure craft requisitioned by the government Although not all made it! At low tide, the wreck of HMS Devonia is visible (opposite to the brick ramp). There is a further wreck to the left but was sunk in 1926 so nothing to do with either war. Further to the left can be found the remains of the Crested Eagle. This was a British paddle steamer hit by 3 or 4 . Unfortunately, over 300 men lost their lives when it went down. With this in mind, show some respect and don't walk all over it!
