Horrible practice. Staff is not clear with billing procedures or expectations with next steps when coming in and waiting for a doctor. This doctor does not listen when asking for a response from a patient. Being told that I need to walk to my mailbox to get a daily dose of Vitamin D is not accurate. Leaving this office was a great decision.

I have been going to this doctor for over a year. In the last few months I acquired insurance but decided to keep seeing Dr. Gherghina as I had already established a rapport with her and liked the service that I received not only with her but the entire staff. Every time I visit I pay between 60-80, I am ok with that. My last experience with the younger doctor, I was rushed through the appt., had an EKG which when completed the results were given to me through their medical assistant. Is this standard protocol? What if I had questions? I wouldn't be upset about this normally but instead of the 60-80 25 for EKG that I normally pay I was now charged for the \longer\ appt. that I was rushed through, the charge was 125 for the appt 25 for the EKG. This upset me, it really is an insult. Perhaps she thought I had insurance and wouldn't be affected by this? In this case this would clearly be some type of insurance fraud, at the very least poor customer service. Nevertheless, I complained about it and they did adjust the price to the 80 but I did find this to be an insult considering she rushed through the appt., she literally was walking out the door when I was asking her questions. Had I legitimately taken 25 minutes of her time I would have no problem paying the billed amount.

Really amazing staff that I had to write a review after visiting so many others. So friendly! Dr. Valentina Gherghina took comprehensive notes while I described to her my health issues and took her time to listen to my concerns. The medical assistants were good-natured, very helpful and sweet. Thank you for taking care of me.

I have no idea how this practice received 5 stars but if I could give it a zero I would. I've been there twice. The first time I was made to wait almost 40 minutes in the waiting room. Mind you I arrived 10 minutes early because I knew as a new patient there were going to be forms to fill out and I wanted to give myself time to fill them out. After the 40 minutes the assistant calls me and I go into the exam room. A million questions, weight is taken, BP is taken and then I'm told the doctor will see me shortly. TOTAL LIE... I wait more... finally the door opens and guess what?!?!? It's not the doctor but a medical student from Miami University telling me that she will exam me but that the doctor will be there shortly. More of the same exact questions that the medical assistant asked. The student takes my bp, checks my heart rate etc.... I am beyond annoyed at this point. No one told me that a student was going to come in and no one told me that it was going to take almost an hour and 45 minutes for me to see the damn doctor. I had a second appointment not too long ago and it was THE SAME THING! ARE YOU SERIOUS??? I asked the front desk why it was taking so long and ofcourse they had no clue. When you was taken to the exam room I told the assistant that I had a meeting and I couldn't wait much longer since I had already been waiting for almost 45 minutes... no apologies, she just said the doctor will see me shortly. LIED... a med student comes in about 12 minutes later and I almost lost it... I told the student I wanted the doctor and explained to her that i have been waiting for almost one hour. The student apologized. The doctor came in about 10 minutes later, no apology, no nothing. Spent not even 10 minutes with me. DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR LIFE AWAY IN A WAITING ROOM. Unbelievably unprofessional.
