I have a mixed review on D&G I have had the cover for about 9 months and had 2 call outs no problems came out within 2 days absolutely amazing service my last call out I have been left without a washing machine for over a month, engineer didn’t even show up to fix it so had to sort it out myself and claim it all back every step I have had to call and case them up my washing machine is a complete right off so it has taken another week to get an email to pick my new machine still haven’t had my money back yet which I have claim back and hopefully my new washing machine is turning up Thursday (fingers crossed)

I've had policies for years, they had always been quick and responsive. Recent lockdown experience has been not so great. Mostly down to multiple subsequent issues on my washing machine. Brushes went, replaced after delay booking, then motor failed, follow up issue of system board. Regional centre seem to have both supply and resource issue's. I escalated the unacceptable response and failure of part delivery to D&G contact centre. Really helpful,agreed that time was unacceptable and that it was taking multiple parts to repair, machine was written off, within 1 hour I had delivery date for replacement machine, which they allowed me to pay extra for an upgrade, very surprisied at that, as I was expecting just one option. Really happy with D&G as an insurer, they do need to look at some of their 3rd parties, as looking at reviews they are dragging them down.

An Apology with No Accountability? I called Domestic & General to fix a small leak in the boiler. They came, 'fixed' it, and within 24 hours the ground floor was pooled with at least two inches of water and celing coming down. They claim no negligence. No negligence despite sending us a letter that says they \sincerely apologise for any damages to your property.\ They apologise, but accept no responsibility. It has been a horrible experience and an even worse service.

My top of the range oled tv (1500) had to be replaced but instead of offering me a like for like tv they only went and offered me not the middle range but the bottom range tv. Apsolute jokers! EDIT 1 week later ...I initially gave this company 1 star but after coming to a amicable agreement i thought they deserved 3 stars but then after dealing with their marvellous employee (sandy) who tried to do all that she could for me hence the reason for the increased extra star!

I was insured my tablet was given back and fixed as my screen was broken. I was told that my tablet was replaced with new one, today I have opened and realized that I was given old tablet, as I opened it it had sticky tape to hold circuit board in place. Scam people!! Avoid!! See photos
