Worst Insurance company ever. They demand proof of purchase (in my case screenshot from gumtree) when it has been removed from market so it's impossible to take a screenshot at all. I've provided proof of usage from provider which is exactly same as proof of ownership but they said that they can ask whatever they want. Left me with damaged phone despite it is insured by Nationwide.

BUYERS BEWARE.... Adminstrators of the RAC extended Warranty. In a nutshell do not purchase this Extended Warranty, directly or through other retail outlets. Take from an experienced Regulated Complaint manager formerly working for a well known Car supermarket, this adminstrator of the warranty look for any and I mean any reason not to support your claim. They have refused to honour my claim stating that as the air compressor for the air suspension works it is not a sudden mechanical breakdown. Whilst being in possession of a report from an independent garage which states although the compressor has power and turns on, it fails to produce any air to raise the suspension. Also in possession of the time line of events which confirm the vehicle and air suspension was working one evening but not the very next morning. So under the cloak of not being a \sudden mechanical failure\ they will not support the claim. In anyone else's world the mear fact that a product worked one evening, is no longer used for the night and then fails to work at the very next morning, is sudden, is mechanical and has failed. As I have said elsewhere, put the money you might be thinking about using to purchase their products into a savings account and build your own \go to\ fund. You won't regret it. If you have had the misfortune to purchase the extended warranty through them or a third party and had a legitimate claim refused. Complain to the selling dealer and to the financial ombudsman. Use your social media power to let everyone know of your experience at their hands. Use whatever social media platforms your can and make it hard for them to continue to sell and administer their products in such a poor manner. Most importantly make sure you stop anyone you know from purchasing this product, they will thank you.

Short summary: DONT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS! My story so far: I can totally understand the sentiments of the poor reviews on here. I purchased a car from “the car people” unfortunately I was involved in an accident and the car was written off by the insurer. Whilst somewhat inconvenient and sad, I felt some comfort and reassurance in the fact I had purchased a Return to Invoice GAP policy at the recommendation of how good it was by the salesperson at the time of my car purchase. All I can say is how very wrong and misleading that information was. To cut a long story short, I’m now facing a shortfall in my settlement from my GAP policy through this company, when speaking to them their figures just don’t add up, they can’t explain them to me themselves, so what confidence have I got that they are getting it right?! I’ve asked for a written breakdown of how they are calculating their settlement but I’ve yet to see any. The length of time this whole process has taken has been a joke, and has cost me even more than the figure below due to extra payments to my finance company for a car that’s sat in the scrap yard. So, I’m left with a hefty 1500 shortfall I will have to personally pay to settle my finance, WHAT HAS BEEN THE POINT IN PURCHASING GAP IN THE FIRST PLACE I ASK MYSELF?! The next step for me will be the Financial Ombudsman, my finance company, the Media, and the small claims procedure. Why is it always the little man having to fight injustice from these soul-less companies like this? I’m literally tired and sick to death of it and urge anyone considering their products to heed my notice... ...Please DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS! They aren't worth the paper their printed on and you can buy elsewhere separately

I claimed through TSB Platinum account mobile cover and received a 2nd hand scratched iPhone. After speaking with them it seems that sending out 2nd hand damaged stock is completely normal and sits within their conditions. The people are polite, but their service is so poor.
