I feel blessed to have found the expressive arts and Markus. He is a master teacher/facilitator and beautiful human being. I highly recommend this training for everyone. and anyone. I have studied with Markus for the past 3 years. The work has helped me become more sensitive to what is moving within me. This increased sensitivity has allowed me to respond instead of react to life's events. I have learned to trust my own wisdom and deep knowing under Markus's skillful guidance. The expressive arts have helped me heal my nervous system and live everyday with more peace and awareness.

I love the embodied way of learning, not only about Expressive Arts as a practitioner, but also about myself and my relationship to others and the world through the guidance of Markus Alexander. It is a wonderful way of integrating everything toward personal and professional growth.

Expressive Arts work with Markus is such a powerful way to open up resources within the individual, groups, and whole communities. Markus' knowledge and experience is a huge support as people find their own wisdom through the work. The theory and practice of Expressive Arts has rich theoretical roots as well as a leading edge that comes alive through the participants. For somebody interested in serious study or anybody who wants to discover inner resources and thrive as a human being, this is highly recommended.

I am currently in my 3rd year of training with Markus who is highly skilled at teaching both the theory and the practice of Expressive Arts Therapy. He is masterful at guiding a creative process which has the unique movement from one modality to another. For example, from painting to movement to writing to dialogue. This inter-modal process has the effect of both deepening and expanding awareness, and sensitivity. As a psychologist of 30 yrs, I would highly recommend this training which has many therapeutic benefits.

Markus Scott Alexander is a gift to our world. He brings compassion, inspiration and humour to this work of the expressive arts. I always leave his trainings feeling inspired and trusting in the 'rightness' of working in this way both on a personal level and also in my work as a therapist. The wisdom of his teachings and the personable style in which he delivers it give me hope at a time when I feel that the world most needs it. He brings both the levity and gravitas of human experience into synergetic focus and facilitates a way to be with it all on a path with the least resistance.
