Great venue, beautiful compelling art, fun classes, and great music!
This is a shady organization. Every year, the Parliament puts on a show called Decked Out and every year in the past it has benefited the local skatepark to maintain safe grounds for the kids. Without notifying anyone they changed it to benefit themselves instead. Shady and greedy. They don’t deserve your support.
The Parliament is such a great organization in York. I am so thankful for such a thoughtful arts organization and all the great events they do. Kudos to Colin Holder for the great work.
I've been to all the galleries in York. Besides the studios this is my favorite small gallery. Other galleries can seem pretwntious and clique like. This gallery is very open, great lighting. They have a little bar, lounge area and even an outdoor space to hang with others. They have a good variety of exhibitions and everyone I've met there is friendly. Highly reccomend this gallery.
