Phoned this vets to find out about my dogs vaccine as other vets i phoned says theres weren't compatable with his first set this vets said theres was only to take my dog and find out after the vaccine was given that it wasn't compatible so i went in and spoke to the manager who was not clued up or a vet who told me they were i explained i had spoke to other vets ect and they were wrong only to receive a phone call later that night from a vet/director of clyde vets who basically told me that he knew better than the vaccine manufacturer and the other vets and that it was compatible and they have been doing this for years on all dogs so i would advise any one whos dog was vaccinated here to double check your dog is vaccinated correctly as this is a simple money making vets and only care about the money and not the pet or owner steer well clear. We did speak at some length and also informed yous to do your homework as i have done and i spoke to more than one vet who was not a puppet for the clyde vets a suggest doing your home work vanguard and nobivac are not compatable and any one on the internet can see this by doing simple research

. On Wednesday i had blue to the vet as he wasnt his usual self. Running after us barking etc we noticed a big difference in him. We wer told that \the vet\ had checked him all over and it was his teeth bothering him. He needed a scale n polish and teeth out costing 288. We came away with antibiotics and steroids. So over the weekend he doesnt get any better so i phoned the emergency vet as he was very weak in sunday to be told there want any cause for concern when the \ vet\ checked him over on wed but if we wanted to take him to lanark that night it would cost 128 just to see him or wait till Monday which wouldnt have made any difference and it would cost 28 to see him. Took him down yesterday at 2.30pm to be told he had a heart murmur, then bloods took to be told his organs were failing and he would deteriorate fast. No way had he to get the operation on his teeth in 2 weeks as he wouldnt last. We got home and he started to pass black stuff and vomit. I phoned them back and within an hour we had to get wee blue put to sleep. Our hearts r broken. We had to do the right thing for him so he wouldn't be suffering as we were told there was no treatment for him . Y did they not do bloods on wed, y did they not notice when they checked him all over he had a heart murmur? His blood results were so bad 1 of them was off the scale. Im so angry and heart broken. Never will i go back near them with any animal.

As soon as we got our wee kitten Skye, we registered with this practice, which I can confidently recommend. The practice is spotlessly clean and the staff is amazing. They genuinely care about the welfare of your pet. The member of staff we have dealt with recently is Lindsay who is absolutely brilliant (as is all the staff, I hasten to add). Skye recently got neutered and chipped and the op was very much a success with first class aftercare. Pleased with the costs too.

If I could give it zero stars I would. We took sister's dog in on the Monday morning before going to the caravan as she wasn't eating. They gave her a thorough examination and said it was her teeth that was the problem. Next morning she was worse and took her to a vet near the caravan, a quick examination and they said there was something in her lungs and they were full of fluid, after an x-ray we found her to be full of tumors and had to have the wee soul put to sleep.
