What a great company. Willow Wren deserve the highest praise for their dedication to their customers. Our holiday was booked and because some selfish person refused to return the boat, we had to delay for 24 hours. The excellent staff at Willow Wren resolved the problem quickly and even sent people to get the boat back to Rugby overnight! The boat was cleaned and prepared to the latest corona virus standards in record time. Prices are very competitive and the attention to detail is second to none. Staff at the yard are willing to help and advise with all your questions. As already said, we cannot praise them highly enough for the attention and help they have given us.

Didn't hire from the company but our hire boat developed an issue so had to pull in to water just up from this companies marina and waited for the engineers. Debbie the owner of Willow Wren came to our boat and berated us for mooring up. We tried to explain our predicament but she didn't care then proceeded to tell us we would have to wait 5 hours to leave as her boats took priority. She was incredibly rude. I then went to the office to get the Head Office address and she was rude again because I had walked in to the reception area when there was another family there, told me to wait outside..no please or thank you!...debbie you need a course in customer services! Anyone reading this, I would find another boat hire company where the manager is polite & empathetic!

Would not recommend unless you are an experienced boater as they sent us off onto busy canal with no advice at all on how to handle a boat even though she knew we were complete novices. Luckily other boaters were helpful. Toilet broke down the first night but the engineer came quickly. The engineers are lovely but Deb was abrupt and unhelpful and rushes you onto boat and away. Not happy being made to return by 8.30am. Will go boating again but not with this company

I hired the Beatice two weeks after the last review and was not told about any toilet problems. However , we also had the toilet flooding one the first night. We rang for help and to be told turn the water off and needed to go to get it pumped out the next day at another marina for 16. Nobody came out to help and I was told we were lucky that they answered the telephone. I found Deb to be very abrupt when I called prior to picking up the boat and when we arrived she went over a few instructions in 5 mins and set us off telling us she had emailed a link to watch.it was all very rushed and Deb was very stressed and wanted us out quickly because she had others coming. I feel that customers safety on the waterways should be paramount not the number of boats you can get in and out. When we returned Deb never asked if we wrewewere ok nor spoke to us until I asked where should I leave feedback and then she became interested.she did not like the feedback and started shouting and telling us to get out. The guys are very helpful but Deb the owner kept telling me how things have changed and I understand that with covid and why we were unable to pick our boat up until 4pm losing out on a whole afternoon boating. I would recommend you check the toilet before setting off if you still choose to use this boat but would NOT RECOMMEND the company due to the stressful and neglectful owner -Deb!

Have always had a good relationship with Willow Wren Cruising Holidays. The only fault I can find is that the marker in Google maps is in the wrong place. As you turn in to Consul Road from the A426, Leicester Road, the entrance to the boat yard is less than 200 yards on the right. A nice new green fence now surrounds the entrance.
