very nice view of the lake, great place to stop if your driving around the lake. room for 4 or 5 cars in the platform.

As a kid in the early '70s we spent most of our camping vacations at the Lac De Serre poncon. A yearly Day-trip was the Trip around the lake, with stops along some of the area's where you could swim in the lake. We always camped in the village of La Breole, where a villager had a bar/Cafe and the only Grocery store of the village. Behind the building was a regular cow pasture, which was converted during the summer as a basic campground. There was a little sanitary building with water sourced from the village fountain. No Hot water. We supplied our drinking water from the Village fountain which was fed from a local mountain spring. We bought French Bread and Croissants baked daily from the local bakery. I travelled a lot later in life, but this is by far one of my favorite area's to go on a vacation.

Superbe endroit autant l'été que l'hiver, très reposant. Seul bémol, aucun office de tourisme avant mi juin. Dommage.
