Think about it for a second. A guy goes out walking and arrives at a gorge. It is impassable. Steep sided and wet at the bottom. But our hero has a dream. A dream of a deeply mega marvel of engineering. A huge span of metal and concrete traversing the mighty Avon gorge. It's amazing. It's incredible. It's testament to vision and skill and the power of humanity to overcome natural obstacles. Power to all involved. Amen.

Monumental And Historical. Everyday ambience, That word, Ambience Exudes For all to enjoy the Air, their Health and Quiet, A Place to chill, dogs of all Varietys. Am I imagining that the brisk air brings an Air of delightful people who reveal in, Again this Wonderful Monumental Historical Place. I leave you all to decide. One capurement of a Runner, one of many as the Sunset. I say no more. But definitely worth taking a Chance to Visit Bristol for so much to absord on A Day out or holiday as and when possible after Covid Lock down relaxes it's rules. Please Stay safe, Above all, RESPECT GUIDELINES & hopefully we all can combat this to enjoy summer here.

I have walked on the bridge follow with the hike to the observatory. And the view from up there it’s amazing. You can also visit the forest just beside the bridge it’s enormous and beautiful with the river passing trough the all forest . Highly recommend

A beautiful bridge and of course, a must when visiting Bristol! I viewed from up the hill and also walked along, amazing for pictures. What a breathtaking piece of engineering! The social distancing measures were also very well executed, one side for walking one way, the other for returning. The only unfortunate thing, there were large metal gates put around the viewing platforms, making it a lot harder to get lovely pictures. Nevertheless was great to view!

Beautiful bridge. Even more beautiful views. Interesting history. Many other places to visit nearby the lookout, cave and playground. There's toilets and baby change on the road at the bridge and information centre on the otherside. Crossing with vehicle 1 . The best though walking trough. Must see. Easy to spend couple hours.
