This place is absolutely amazing. I had checked my husband in around July and it was the most stressful process ever emotionally. Amanda made me feel so at ease over the phone, and even at 11:00 at night after dropping him off, Mr. Charles consoled me and was so kind, understanding, and assuring while I felt I was falling apart. Amanda was incredible with updates, and her and I were on the exact same page 100%. The nurses always called me back, and I knew my husband was safe there. Sobriety is a lifelong journey, and it will be constant work, but I will forever be grateful to Twin Lakes Recovery for saving my husbands life, and giving him the tools to make him love himself again.

Twin Lakes is a great recovery center. It helped save my son's life. All the staff are great there, but Amanda, hands down, is the BEST. She helped navigate not only my son, but our whole family through the recovery process. She worked diligently with my son throughout his stay at Twin Lakes and helped find him a sober-living facility for when he left. She was amazing with her emotional support, she was very professional, and very compassionate. I would highly recommend Twin Lakes for your short-term recovery needs.

If I was able to give them a zero I would. This is a horrible facility please do not consider if your family member is in need of mental health and drug rehabilitation. During the admission process they present themselves as if seeking to support the recovery effort. But, once there it is a different story. The counselors and nurses are not empathetic nor compassionate which leads to question their training and license status. After 4 days they allowed my mentally unstable family member to self check out and literally walk out with a suitcase onto the highway. They made no effort to keep my family member until someone arrived. I had to contact the local police to commence a search and later discovered that a nice elderly lady picked up my family member from the side of the road after walking on the highway for 7 miles. (thank you officer Jones) Keep in mind that someone with cruel intentions could have picked up my family member. Also, keep in mind that once I arrived they made no attempts to HELP and were not concerned at ALL!! AMANDA KINER, SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS AND SAID \SHE SELF CHECKED OUT AND WE LET HER LEAVE WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE IF SHE WANTS TO WALK FROM MONROE GA TO ATLANTA GA\. PLEASE STAY AWAY GOOD REVIEWS ARE NOT REAL!!! I will be reporting them to the Joint Commission, NAATP, and the state.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The nurses and staff were very caring and professional. All the other patients had a great attitude and seemed to genuinely want to be better. I’m very glad I came here.
