We were tuckered out from a long day of being an American Tourist Decided to stop in for a drink and a bite to eat on the way back to our B&B. So GLAD we did!! We had a couple great brews and cider. BUT the Ale and Meat Pie has not been outdone since we arrived in Bath. Absolutely amazing!! Add to that the very pleasant and friendly guy serving behind the bar with a group game of Connect 4 and it turned into a magical stop Thanks for a great ending for a couple of American tourists from Boston!

A solid traditional pub. Not too much on the menu, nice and simple. The wild boar and chorizo pie was tasty!
Clean and crisp, but cosy! Very comfortable king-size bed. Loved the idea of the team strainer tea pot and the cafetiere instead of instant coffee and cheap tea bags! Lovely continental breakfast too :)
Terrible! Very small double room Window that didn't close properly Right on the road so noisy No private parking and on street parking only a handful of spaces and very expensive, 3.40 an hour Our room was right opposite the bar so noisy Not even a proper kettle, just a machine that made tepid water! Only one tea bag and one coffee pod each Bathroom tap handle kept falling off Only one toilet roll Not even a bedside cabinet just a stool with a light in an awkward position No wardrobe, just a small rail hanging from the wall and some coat hangers Hair dryer flung over the coat hanger rail Very dusty behind the bedside stall The TV and heater worked and the bathroom was clean The resident dog Mollie was very friendly A member of staff very abrupt with us when we were leaving and handed her our key. Didn't smile, just made us feel unwelcome The bed gave us both backache. We won't ever be going there again!!
Stayed here for 2 nights while in bath. The first room we we're put into had a leak in the bathroom ceiling and it looked like it could fall through at any moment, but apparently they were fully booked and couldn't change our room. After a 30min wait and my partner having to get the bar worker to call up her boss so he could speak to him himself, we were moved to a other, up graded room, that had conveniently just been cancelled. The set up of the hotel was lovely, a nice little bar, a lovely courtyard area that lead into the rooms. BUT it is in great need of some TLC, the rooms could do with a deep clean, the damp issue in bathrooms needs to be addressed and the cellings and walls could do with a touch up, better storage for the rooms also, all we had was a clothes rail with only 4 hangers, no draws. With a bit of care and attention this hotel could be a great little, no fills find. The bed was the best part of the whole experience, very comfortable and so were the pillows, had a great night sleep.
Cancelled on myself and a group of friends 2 weeks before we were due to stay there. Nothing left in Bath now in our price range. No reason given, did not reply to email or answer phone. Don’t bother booking they will let you down. Thanks for ruining our weekend away
Not bad, cool shabby chic styling, lovely, helpful staff. We stayed in the loft 2 room, and it smelled quite unpleasant, it was also cold in our room despite the radiator being on flat out as soon as we got into the room. Other than that, it was very nice and pleasant
Nice place in the heart of Bath. Loved the courtyard area and the pub. We stayed on a Monday, we slept with the window open and there was no noise from the pub area to keep us up (we thought that would be an issue) The tub was large and the bed comfortable, but we saw on multiple occasions paint fall from the walls in flakes and it had a musty smell. We adored the Pub Dog, she was an absolute delight and a comfort when we missed our own pups.
