They do have a lunch menu and some icecream. Plenty of outdoor seating and there is a play area for kids as well. You can buy fossils(real) from this shop

Signs from main road say beach cafe, once your on the road you find a sign saying toll road, 5 charge, with no where to turn round you have to continue to the car park and pay a guy stood at the entrance. The beach cafe is not on the beach and as for the beach well its not very nice, do yourself a favour and drive another 10 minutes to a nice sandy beach where you can park for 3.50.

Great place for a snack and ideal location to see the anchored cruise ships

I went to the kiosk today and asked for a coffee. I asked if there was a minimum card payment and was told it was 5. I saod that I wouldn't be able to pay that. The lady went away and made my coffee before setting up the card machine. I thanked her and added a flap jack as a gesture of good will because I assumed she'd waved the charge. She told me it was 3.20. She set up the card machine and I tapped assuming that she'd put that into the machine. I was amazed after tapping that it actually read 5. I couldn't believe the audacity. She didn't tell me she would charge me 1.80 over the cost of the items. Is that some form of interest?! There is no law governing what minimum a vender can request for card payment. But there are clear rules in place for companies such as visa and Mastercard around this, as mentioned below. This place is a rip off and im not surprised it only scores 3.3. However, there are rules set out by card networks which state that any merchant accepting their cards cannot set a maximum or minimum limit. Setting a minimum spend on card payments is a violation of these rules and can result in a hefty fee or account suspension.

Spoiled by the queueing public choosing, bar one person, to ignore poster request for face masks to be worn, and lack of thrir social distancing. So exited the queue, didnt spend any money (but would have liked to support them). What is wrong with people, what dont they get!? We are still in midst of Covid-19 pandemic. Have used many times previously, for drinks & snacks when out walking.
