Fantastic store, called in today for a couple of camping chairs & a few bits for our holiday. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, sorted us out with 2 matching chairs. Nothing was too much trouble. There is a lovely butchers shop inside as well as a nice cafe. This shop as all your holiday needs & is very very reasonably priced. If your in the area then call in, I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

I understand that at this present moment this country is trying it's best to recover after a torid time dealing with the covid virus. Shops are complying with government restrictions to open their doors once again to the delight of the British public. But its inconceivable to me to understand how large shops, like Ashby's can open up with no toilet facilities. The shop looked fully operational, butchers department looked fab, obviously alot of work had been done to open the premises. But why no toilets? I dined at a fish restaurant the previous evening and the arrangement with the toilets worked very well. Having travelled for over an hour to visit Ashby's, both my partner and I, really needed to go! And to be told by two cold dry grey old unfriendly members of staff(it really doesn't hurt to smile) that the toilets were closed and we would need to travel a further 2 miles in one direction or 3 in another, is not particularly funny when crossing one's legs. Left without buying anything obviously Ashby's need to rethink what they are doing.

I was very disappointed with this store I'm not from the area and was visiting this store took me 1hour twenty to get there and needed toilet I went into store and asked the 2 ladies where was the toilet to be told they were closed along with cafe so no facilities I would have to go into salcombe for nearest I felt the staff very cold attitude could not smile or even offer any assistance i have worked in store myself and would not treat people with such cold unfriendly manner needless to say i quickly walked round store the butcher dept totally different they had friendly attitude even though i didnt buy anything whilst i agree we have covid situation but opening outlet store you need to provide proper facilities others manage it just means extra cleaning rota management need to look into sorting this out I didnt buy anything as felt to uncomfortable and possible not bother going again I have been manager and would seriously speak to any staff with bad attitude and recommend you do so I'm sure you could quite easily have opened your toilet with little bit of common sense especially as you are so far from the nearest facilities I'm sure others will have walked away so you will have lost business unless this doesnt matter to you but it would matter to me if I was manager your store is also very cluttered needs setting out and sign up so you know where to find things staff may know where they are customers certainly don't you need to reorganise properly you would gain so much more and also proper walk round route of store as I bumped into people going always round store so not very well organized

I've only had the burgers from here, but they were excellent. If that's anything to go by then I would happily shop here!
