My wife is currently there finishing up 75 days. I am an outsider looking in and although I have opinions bases on process, procedures and structure, at this point I have seen some progress and I am unable to comment fully until after she's left and the progress has had a chance to be assimilated in our lives. What I can speak of FACTUALLY is their payment policies, promise of insurance coverage, fluctuations in treatment and costs. We've had to put 98K on credit cards for two months (This is a lot of money for us) with the reassurances that after 30 to 60 days we would start seeing checks and most of it would be covered. It's been more than 60 and we've gotten 5K that will go to her further treatment. In addition, we've heard people say that they pay anywhere from 10K to 15K monthly. It seems there's a disparity of pricing based on your ability to negotiate. I would highly recommend negotiating. If you tell them you can only stay 30 days but need full treatment, they will gear your treatment towards a 30 day commitment. Of course, they always want you to stay as long as possible to maximize revenue. I don't believe any different, They heard people through like cows (patients words) they care about revenue. Again, negotiate, negotiate, negotiate. Don't believe them when they say you need 90 days, get the same amount of treatment in 30 days. I do have a lot of opinions based on treatment, huge disconnects on what the website says that got us there and the reality, and the general culture there, but I will reserve my feedback until after my wife leaves. Also, ask them about their relapse rate and returning clients. Patient told me that half the people are returning clients. If the program is so good and valuable for the money, why are there so many return clients. Please ask them to give you accurate numbers and why!!!

Being a therapist myself I am highly selective in who I trust to provide the best care available. I've known Judy Crane and Tom Pecca for some time now. Not only did they help me professionally, but more importantly when it came time for me to seek help Judy was the first person I called. From the moment I arrived on the campus I felt safe, loved, and nurtured. The medical staff was phenomenally welcoming as was each and every staff member I met in my time at the Guest House. I will always consider the campus at the Guest House sacred, for it was there that I got my life back. I was treated with the utmost respect by everyone from the clinical staff to the cleaning staff. I would recommend the Guest House to any client, friend, or family member. I took many things away from my experience at the Guest House, but the thing I will remember most is being loved for who I am...scars and all!

The Guest House literally saved my life. I showed up there after a long and protracted bout with depression and suicidal urges. It was a last chance shot at keeping myself alive. I was so scared and nervous about going into a treatment center, and not knowing what to expect, but they were so welcoming and caring and kind. They took one of the hardest things I'd ever done and did their best to make it easier. For one the I found the entire staff to be caring and compassionate and comforting. Pretty much everyone who works there has been through their own struggles, right down to the friendly fellers who keep the gorgeous grounds so beautiful. Going through treatment is hard work, and only gets harder the more work you put in, but I couldn't imagine having had the success I did were it not for the incredible team they have put together. Tons of care, a little bit of coddling, and just the exact right amount of tough love. And it didn't hurt that the food was stellar too. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough if you or a loved one needs some help.

Having worked in both facilities lovingly opened by Judy Crane, I must say that I am truly impressed with the miracles I witness everyday, stemming from the roots she so expertly planted. The Guest House staff is dedicated to their guests from such a deep personal level that it is palpable. The guests are treated with kindness, respect, compassion and a little tough love when needed. I have yet to see a guest who hasn't made strides, sometimes even in spite of themselves. I am so fortunate to be a part of this team.

Working for both Judy Crane and John West at the Guest House Ocala is such a rewarding place to work. Even though I work behind the scene per say what I have witnessed is such love and compassion for our clients on a daily bases. Our staff all go above and beyond to make sure our clients get the best care possible. I'm blessed to be part of this amazing team!
