The busses are overcrowded and scarce. My daughter is often picked up 5 minutes before school starts, twice in the past week the bus has come well after school starts due to mechanical break downs & the driver taking an added route on the other side of the county. The bus is so crowded they sit 3 to a seat. Transportation eliminated my daughters stop, even though the bus still passes it. They refuse to allow the bus to stop even though it means making a kindergartener (not my child) walk 2 blocks to the new stop as opposed to the previous stop which was directly in front of her home. The Board of Supervisors and School Board need to work together to fund proper equipment as well as competitive salaries so they can recruit qualified drivers. Shame on Stafford County.

This morning is my umpteenth morning dealing with transportation. My daughter was texting me while on the bus informing me that she is on a different bus than her usual. Bus transportation documented that she WAS on her usual bus, the told me the time that she was picked up, and the school she was headed to. Well, incorrect..........thank goodness for cell phones, God forbid you have a LOST child on your hands due to incorrect information!!!!!! We HAVE to clean this mess up!!!!!!!!!!
