A small and minimalist rotenburo that completely deserves your visit. It's about 15 minutes by foot from the shrine. Price is cheap (450 yen) but keep in mind it's not a facility. There's a hot spring, a locker and that's it.

A simple outdoor onsen to view the fall leaves. It is a few minutes away by foot from Kajika Bridge. There are no hairdryers. Changing area and lockers are outdoors. It's 450 yen for adults and 200 yen for children.
For many years, the 伊香保露天風呂 (the public Ikaho Outdoors Hot Springs) used to be our family's favorite weekend outing. It took usually about 90 minutes to drive from our home in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo. The first times we went there, the onsen was still conjugal (mixed male and female bathing), but eventually changed to separate baths for men and women. We'd always stop at a 'manju' place to have one of the local sweets, a Japanese steamed cake filled with sweet red bean paste.
Simple, small and pleasant outdoor onsen to relax in after a day hiking around Mt.Haruna. Great to view the fall leaves and soak for an hour.
Really good experience for outdoor natural bath!
