Lots of seals and wildlife to be seen if you willing to climb all the way down the path!!

Loved it!!! Amazing place! My idea of heaven...wildlife and fossils in one place Very steep path down to the beach and precarious hike back up when it rained but oh so worth it! Found fossils galore in the rain! And saw 100s of seals basking on the rocks in the sun.... Will definitely return...an absolute favourite of mine now!

Beautiful views of the sea and Robin Hood Bay! And largely unspoilt. Well laid out paths with benches placed at just the right spot for a rest on the steep homeward climb - ostensibly to look at the view!Seals. Not too busy on the July Sunday we visited, good social distancing and ice cream treats at the end.Only challenge was the toilets closed at 3. A little early on a summer evening after a few hours on the beach - with no other amenities (at level that we could find.)

Stunning. Wonderful. Exhilarating. Photogenic. Lots of wild flowers. Lots of butterflies. Panoramic views of fantastic cliff walk. I walked a circular route 15 miles along the Cinder Track from Robin Hood's Bay to Whitby Abbey and then returned on the coastal path, the Cleveland Way, back to Robin Hood's Bay. It's a brilliant walk. Plenty of rollercoaster \downee uppees\. Nice to happen upon the little random pop up stalls with honesty boxes - there were two on the Cinder Track, offering cakes, eggs, veg, bottled water. Well thought out and nicely presented. Had a really creamy ice cream at the Abbey. Was a lovely welcome surprise to come across the Hornblower Tea Room just by the Hornblower Lodge holiday let. The latter is a lighthouse, while the Tea Room has a pair of massive black horns on its roof. Hornblower Tea Room highly recommended! Dog friendly too. A great stretch of coast to walk.

Walked from Robin Hood's Bay along the coast. Loved seeing the seal colony near Ravens at. Walked back along the Cleveland Way. A beautiful and varied coastline. The excellent weather made it even more worthwhile.
