This place is very good to pay a one time visit. There is good range of animals to view. To name them, white peacock, chimpanzee, lion, tiger(white one), leopard, bear, crocodile, alligator, zebra, deer, giraffe, elephant, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, snakes, fishes and a wide variety of birds. However, it will be prudent to pay a visit in the winter season as most of the big animals like lion, tiger, rhinoceros, hippopotamus, etc.remain in their respective rooms due to the hot weather in summer. The zoo covers a large area. It has the facilities of a very vibrant cafeteria. It also provides the boating experience and also runs toy train.

One of the best biological park and popular zoo in Bihar. Many different wild animals and beautiful birds and other creatures are here. A beautiful place to spend some time with nature and its creation. This place has its own beauty and the people of Bihar has a different connection with this. They go for yoga and morning walks. Couples like to go their to spend some quality time with nature. Whenever someone visit Patna for the first time, he must go there.

Plastic bottles are ban inside the premise but they will provide a glass in cafeteria which can spread the pandemic easily. One glass was used by many people in cafeteria. When I requested for paper glass, cafeteria staff refused to provide and I was notified that the director decided to provide same glass for all the visitor who need water from dispenser. Good place for kids but please come with preparation if you want to enjoy the place. A metal water bottle or flask, walking shoes and sandals, avoid high heels and zoo map are necessary items.

Best thing to visit in patna. Entry fee is 30 rupees. Parking is also available but it is not free. It is very big ,for cover whole area you will need at least 3 to 4 hrs. Inside zoo some canteens are also available. This zoo contains approx 338 mammals,355 birds,471 reptiles which is huge in number. I will recommend you to please visit fish House and snake house. It is amazing. Boating is also available. Sanitation is also good. Very good experience. Must visit this place.

A nice good place, A beautiful zoo. Many animals are their. One of the finest zoo. Place is too clean. Parking facility is available. A nice place to spend time with friends and family. You can get a lot of information about animals by visiting this beautiful zoo.

The Animals seem to be very weak. Zoo is maintained okay. Guards are good.. not allowing people to disturb the animals.

Roaming around and seeing different kinds of animals is fun for the kids. The place seems to be loosing it's charm but still have a lot to see. Aquarium or machhali ghar is attraction point. You will find icecream parlour and lite snacks shop inside zoo. It is sad that train was not running, in my childhood days train ride was a must. But now open type cars are available to roam you around but you will need to pay extra.

The zoo is much renovated than before. Lot's of new animals are introduced here. Several varieties of birds haven't seen so far. With boating,toy train and canteen facilities. The nursery here and the beauty is worth seeing. Please do visit and enjoy it's beauty. And ya.. Monday it's closed so remember going any other days.
