A large roman village that is being excavated and which is certainly worth a visit. Some excellent examples of artifacts including original statues. The video is also worth watching, only gripe was middle of winter so nowhere to grab a hot drink

Well preserved. Well maintained. A lot to see. Dont miss the corresponding archeological museum in Cuenca.

Large Roman theater and other buildings. A small but nice museum with friendly staff. Clean indoor bathrooms. Great view from the hilltop. Happy we stopped here!

Really impressive, a theater, circus, amphitheater, fora and small roman city just one hour away from Madrid. The amphitheater acoustics are off the chart, I really recommend reenacting the \Are you entertained?\ Scene from gladiator, you won't be disappointed. Plus, there are fresh water fountains on the way from the visitor centre to the ruins, so you can refill your bottle.
