Ok I can't find a place to write a review for the town of Ruston itself. So I figured this is the next best thing. I love coming here, it's a lovely quaint little town. It reminds me of a modern day Mayberry . The streets are nice and wide, well maintained. It's full of sidewalks. I think it's got to be one of the best places to walk. I'm sitting in my car right now enjoying this little park with the windows down and the sun just warming my aching bones. The birds are singing their symphonies. And dogs are walking their pets up and down the sidewalks, It's a very quiet peaceful, humble little town. It's the home of point defiance zoo, and also home to Fort defiance. The zoo also boasts of an aquarium that's awesome and the fort has great hikes. Easy on up. The houses all look well loved and everything is well maintained. It looks like a wonderful place to live, I know I love visiting, if just to enjoy the peacefulness of the bay, and watching the ferry glide across the water during a majestic sunset. Nice place for young and old alike.
