I couldn’t be more disappointed !!!!! After four year of business and thousands spent at your store. This is the way you treat a loyal customer ? A few day ago I frequented this store to purchase some worms, bird and fish food. Yes I am an animal lover During conversations with the sales rep. I was told about a rescue turtle that got his tail bit off. I felt sorry for the turtle and I bought it. Paid 90. When I got home. I was advised the turtle could not live with my other turtle because the tanks is too small and one or both would eventually die. I immediately contacted the store and was told no refunds, mind you I live literally across the street from this store. Maybe a 5 minute walk or 30 second drive. So it was no more than 15 minutes from the time of purchase to the time of the phone call. I then attempted to speak with the owner, to be told he’s busy and can’t talk but at no chance will he take the turtle back. I even told him the turtle will die if he doesn’t. I was basically told theirs nothing he can do. It’s not the money that bothers me, it’s the fact that he didn’t care not one bit and would rather the turtle to die before doing the right thing. With that being said I could only imagine the love he’s giving the other reptiles he sells. I wouldn’t recommend this store to my enemy. This is Franklin and I don’t have a home for him ( edited ) reply 1. You received the turtle for free 2. Then sells it for 90 bucks 3. No longer that 15 minutes refused to take it back 4. You didn’t say anything about taking it back 5. Because it would have been left there even without a refund. 6. I am pretty sure you would have turned around and sold it again 7. You refused to speak with me, so how would you know what your employee said or didn’t say. I stand behind my review, after four years I will take my business elsewhere.

Unique little store. Especially interested in the giant roaches. Nice selection no reptiles as well. Almost as interesting an attraction as it is a place to shop.
Nice spot. There were some interesting options that I haven't seen anywhere else recently.
Stressful experience. Pretty sure I got taken advantage of. Not going back for anything.
Absolutely love this place and the owners who run it. I bought my first snake a couple months ago from them and I return often just to visit and see what snakes they have in stock. Super nice and helpful people, and they obviously take great care of all of the reptiles in the shop. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a snake or lizard of any kind, I hope to see you guys around for a long time
