Recently did a 16 hr ITC outdoor first aid course with Joe. I've done this type of course a few times (from different providers) to keep my instructor qualifications valid; there's a lot to pack in to a two day course which can make them pretty dull and tiring to be honest. Joe was a font of interesting knowledge and good humour, with engaging slides and the ability to manage the group and keep to time. He knew the course book backwards, which maximised the time spent learning relevant material. His multidisciplinary background in the outdoors also enabled him to put the course material in a variety of relevant contexts. The course location was spatious, easily accessible and appropriate for the requirements of the course. Finally there was a high standard and quantity of training equipment (mannequins, AED'S etc), and also PPE to mitigate the new risks due to Covid-19 (masks, hand gel and gloves were fully provided). If you need a 16hr outdoor 1st aid certificate, I would fully recommend this provider.

I attended the 'Emergency First Aid at Work' course lead by instructor Joe. The course was incredibly informative and comprehensive. Joe is a fantastic instructor and lead the course with great enthusiasm and knowledge. In addition to this, I was extremely impressed by the covid-19 procedures in place to ensure our health and safety during the course. 5 starts would definitely recommend!
