We needed serious help for our son and did not know what to do to make a positive impact on his life. He needed a change of heart to turn things around. We called Family First and that’s when things started to happen. They did not accept him into their program, but did recommend our son attend a different program. After coming home, our son fell into old patterns of destructive behaviors. We had stayed in touch with Family First, and they recommend it was time for our son attend their program. God led us to Family First. Our son is back. We continue to attend the Family First alumni sessions virtually and counselors continue to connect with our son as they truly care about his continued success. We are thankful for the program and staff for your talent, love and support. If you are not sure what to do...call Family First.

Family First is an incredible place! Everyone there is amazing; from our intake with Kevin to our weekly calls with Laura (family therapist) the care, communication and support were outstanding! I knew we made the right decision in seeking treatment and I knew my son was in the right place! In addition to the family therapy calls, I had weekly calls with my son's case manager, Rob. He kept me in the know about my son's overall experience each week which really helped me understand the big picture of his day to day at FFAS. And his education manager, Jessica, was fantastic! She kept me in the loop the entire time and helped facilitate my son completing a semester of Algebra Trig. My son is home now and putting into practice what he learned and gained at FFAS.

I can't say enough about this place! I vetted many places before choosing Family First. It was not an easy decision to put my son in the care of strangers. I had heard/read some disheartening stories about other rehab centers so I wanted to get it right. I did. They are simply amazing: Every singe staff member. Not only are they highly skilled, (please see their website, they use the NARM approach), but they truly care. One of the things i loved most was the communication; I never had to wonder how my son was doing. Along with the therapy my child received, the center offers weekly family sessions, weekly adult education for the families (invaluable) to help understand the NARM approach. The aftercare is outstanding. Once home, my son has access to weekly support groups at the center (no charge!) for life. The parent support groups are lifetime access and no charge as well! Since his return someone has reached out to me on a weekly basis to see how he is doing. The best part is \I got my son back\. He actually thanked me for sending him! You would have had to been here the night we first told him to understand what a miracle that is in itself Please read on NARM to fully understand why this treatment approach is the only way to go, especially with young men.

If there are angels on earth, than they are at Family First. My son fell into a very dark place after suffering a brain injury in a car accident. His path was one of depression, anxiety and substance abuse. If your reading this, you might be in a similiar place or have a loved one experiencing these emotions. As a parent we want to be able to make all our childrens problems go away. It's our job and if we can't we are failures... but we are not. Where we fail is not asking for help from others. The staff at Family First are caring, devoted and educated. I hate to even call them staff because they immediately made both my son and I feel like family. From the case managers..to the therapists....to the financial & education coordinators... you know your child is in the right place. The journey is hard but you will never be alone. Family First gave my son and myself something we had not had in a long time..HOPE! Thanks to Family First, my son has matured, embraced sober living and talks about the future. Call them...they truly will make a difference in your sons life.

Family First is a program of excellence with incrediblly skilled clinicians who really understand how to support healing at the root of the problem. I'd send my own family member here and feel confident in the care we would receive!
