u003e>>UPDATE TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW<<< I sued and WON. Don't be afraid to bring these rip-off artists to court for your money back. I was specifically told, them treating the infection would fix her not eating, only to be told the next day that I need to bring her back in to run more tests to figure out why she isn't eating. If you feel you were taken advantage of like me, don't be afraid to do what you need to get your money back. Good luck everyone, and if you need a 24hr emergency vet, don't come here, there's a waaay better animal hospital in South Weymouth, just don't come here anymore. Was charged 421 for an emergency room visit because my cat wasn't eating. They give me medicine, for an infection I was under the assumption was the reason she wasn't eating, in the wrong form, so when I go back to get the liquid version I get double charged. I then get a call from the emergency room dr who originally messed up the prescription who then tells me I should stop giving the cat the medicine until I can figure out how to get her to eat. The thing I brought her in to get figured out. Now it's a long weekend and they have 460 of my money tied up that I can't get back before Tuesday the earliest to bring my cat to another hospital to figure out what's wrong. All too be right where I was before I brought her in, trying to figure out how to get her to eat, except I'm 460 poorer. Thanks for taking advantage of people during Covid.

I personally would not send a pet here ever. We had an awful experience, our 3 month puppy broke his leg and needed surgery. They were awful to contact and did not let us know anything. He got 2 pins placed into his leg to help heal it. After about 3 week we called multiple times concerned their was issue with the pins and requested an x-ray they refused to see him and said he did not need an x-ray. After about 4 1/2 weeks (they said the pins needed to stay in for 6) they finally agreed to see him and decided he needed surgery to get them removed. After going in to do the surgery they found they were only able to remove one pin because the other pin was healed around since puppies heal so quickly. If the vet listened to our request earlier this issue could have probably been avoided. Now our dogs leg is completely messed up and our vet is very concerned with why they left the pins and believe the pin left inside has moved and causing the dog discomfort. (He now limps and favors that leg) They also never released any of the x-rays to us or sent them to our personal vet. Our family had spent over 6,000 at this place and spending money like that I would at least aspect someone to answer the phone.

The staff was super friendly! When we went it was a very busy night (due to COVID-19) we had to wait in the car. But once we were able to have our dog looked at the process was quick. The staff treated our pup kindly, and as a nervous dog parent they kept me updated. After we left they answered our questions when we called! It was a late night and they made the process so much better.

Found a baby bunny that my cat had caught from a nest with a large wound on his front paw. I had been feeding him for 4 days and he seemed ok but the would worried me since it was most likely from the cat which can be fatal. Since, there are so many wild rabbits in need of rehab this time of year, I couldnt find a rehabber to take him/her because they were already overwhelmed. NE Animal Center was very helpful & were more than happy to take him, examine him & were willing to do watever they could to keep him alive & if successful, theyd care for him until a licensed rehabber could take over. Im very confident in thier abilities & grateful for thier humanity.
